Flick Fish

About Flick Fish

OMG dude you are not gonna believe this game. Flick Fish. I just finished playing it and it's 11 PM and I can't sleep now because my brain is still going over the levels.

So remember how they described it? Like, "flick fish to hit targets in clever small-home-style arrangements." And I was like, okay whatever, sounds like Angry Birds with fish, right? Just a simple slingshot game. BOY WAS I WRONG. That description is like saying pizza is "bread with toppings." Technically true, but completely misses the point.

This game... it's like a tiny, beautiful, interactive Rube Goldberg machine. But with fish! The first time I played, I was just flicking a little Zippy Minnow, kinda aimlessly, and it bounced off a miniature teacup, then hit a tiny hanging bell, which swung and knocked a little wooden door open, revealing the target Golden Guppy. I swear my jaw dropped. It wasn't about precision flicking, it was about *discovery*.

And the levels, dude. They're not just "arrangements." They're like these incredibly detailed dioramas. One was a little shipwreck scene, with tiny treasure chests and swaying kelp. Another was a mini sushi bar, with little plastic soy sauce bottles. And your fish, they're not just projectiles. I found this heavy Grouper fish that could smash through tiny glass walls, and then this little Glowfish that would light up hidden passages. It's like a puzzle game, but your using these adorable, finned tools.

I'm not usually into these chill puzzle games, I like my action, but this was different. It’s so satisfying when you figure out how one tiny flick can set off a whole chain reaction. Like, there was this one level where I had to hit a tiny lantern to make it swing and push another fish into a really tight spot. And the sound it makes when a Zippy Minnow bounces off glass? So cute, like a little "boing!"

Honestly, I sat down thinking I'd play for like 20 minutes, and next thing I know, it's been two hours. Your brain is just constantly thinking, "What if I hit *that* instead?" I even caught myself thinking about that sushi bar level earlier today while I was making coffee, trying to figure out how to get that last target. I already told Liam he *has* to download it. It's really good. Like, really, really good. You gotta try it. It's not fast-paced at all, it's more like a super clever, chill experiment.
