Squishmallow Color Ques
About Squishmallow Color Ques
OMG dude I literally can't sleep. It's like 11 PM and my brain is still buzzing from that Squishmallow game, Color Ques. Remember how your cousin told me it was just "coloring pictures"? That's like, describing pizza as "bread with toppings." Technically true, but completely misses the whole point!
Honestly, when I first started it, I was like, "Okay, this is cute, I'm just filling in Benny the Bigfoot with green." But then, out of nowhere, it wasn't just coloring. It's like, you use the colors to *do* stuff. Like, if you color a path blue, Benny slides super fast, but if you use green, vines grow and you can climb up to new areas. I swear, my jaw dropped when I figured out that if you connect three yellow "sparkle seeds" it unlocks a secret passage and you find a whole new little Squishmallow, like a tiny Fifi the Fox!
I was supposed to just play for like 30 minutes before bed and then I looked at the clock and it was almost 2 AM. Two AM! I was so deep into trying to figure out how to get all the "Dream Dewdrops" to re-energize the Whispering Woods. There was this one part, the Rainbow Ridge quest, where I was stuck forever, and then it hit me: if I used a blue path and then a yellow path, they combined to make this bouncy trampoline effect! It was so clever, I actually gasped. And the little "boop" sound when you connect a color? So satisfying.
I don't usually like puzzle games, you know that, but this is different. It's like a really chill adventure game mixed with a super smart puzzle, but all wrapped up in the cutest Squishmallow world. I already told Mia she HAS to play it, because she loves Squishmallows and she'd be so good at figuring out the color combos. Seriously, your brain just kinda keeps going, thinking about the best way to connect things. You gotta try it. It's fun. Really, really fun.
